Taught by a certified instructor using the latest techniques to efficiently and safely teach the basics of inline skating. TVRHL requires the following equipment: inline skates, helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads. Class is every Tuesday at the rink, from 3:45 – 4:15pm. Roller Rookies: This program is our entry level roller hockey class for boys and girls of all ages. This 6 week program runs consecutively throughout the entire year, weather permitting. Players will learn all the basic skills and fundamentals on how to play roller hockey before actually joining League play. TVRHL requires the following gear to be worn in Roller Rookies: Helmet, hockey gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, inline skates and a hockey stick. When they are ready, the kids graduate into the League. League coaches really appreciate this program because the kids have a much better understanding of the game when joining the league.
Boys and girls 9 years and under. Many of these kids graduated from our Roller Rookie program into this division. This division is also for kids who have played roller hockey before and want to play on an organized team. Each team has a head coach. One game and one practice each week. Register now for the next up-coming season.
Boys and girls 12 years and under. Players are evaluated for their ability level and then drafted on a team with a Head Coach. Even team formation is our number one priority. Game format is 5-on-5 plus a goaltender. One game and one practice each week. Register now for the next up-coming season.
HS Prep
High School Sunday A.M. Division: This division is for players that have mastered their skills and want to compete against the best players in the sport of roller hockey. Also for the player who wants to play in a fast paced and competitive division catering to the hard core roller hockey player. Due to the speed of this division we play a 4-on-4 style with modified center red line off sides. Sign up as an individual free agent, or bring in a friend or two. Players are placed or drafted on to teams to promote a competitive balance. Games are Sunday mornings, 8:00am, 9:15am, and 10:30am.
This is a recreational division where teams are formed with a minimum of 6-men, 4-women, and a goaltender. The skill level for this division is lower intermediate to upper intermediate with the emphasis on fun, safe, medium paced, roller hockey. Sign-up as a “Free Agent” or bring in your team today. Call (805) 501-2744 for more information.

Pick-Up
Child / Parent Roller Hockey Pick-Up: This event is an opportunity for the parents to spend some real quality, fun time with their kids. We try to get 10 kids and 10 parents for each game. The game consists of 3– twenty minute periods and we mix them up as follows: Period 1 is kids with parents vs. kids with parents. Period 2 is kids vs. parents. Period 3 is kids vs. kids and parents vs. parents. Check the schedule when the next event will take place, and call (805) 501-2744 to reserve a spot.

Adult Pick-Up: This really serves as practice for the Adult divisions. For a very minimal fee, a maximum of 20 players and 2 goaltenders play 3-twenty minute periods where the referee will blow a whistle to change lines every 3 minutes. All ability levels are welcome. A representative from the league will pick the teams so there is parity. Pick-up is non competitive in nature and is just a time to go out, get some exercise and have fun playing roller hockey.
Instruction
Youth Roller Hockey Clinics: These clinics are for any player who wants to improve their skills. Each clinic focuses on a particular skill such as: dribbling and puck control, passing and receiving, shooting and scoring, or team dynamics. We offer this clinic on Tuesdays for 75 minutes, from 5:30 – 6:45pm. Call (805) 501-2744 to reserve your spot.

Youth / Teen Summer/Holiday Camps: Camps are usually a full day and range anywhere from one to five days. The kids will play roller hockey with very professional instruction in several different skills throughout the day. All camps are station orientated and work towards a final tournament at the end of the session. For most of our camps, we separate the kids into groups based on their age and skill level. The last day of the camp is usually our tournament day where every camper participates in every aspect of the game. Check TVRHL “What’s Happening Now” for the next scheduled camp. Call (805) 501-2744 to reserve your spot.
